John was a good son, father, fire fighter and soldier. He made the ultimate sacrifice by giving his life for his country. You can't ask for more than that from anyone. John is a true hero in every sense of the word. I taught him from an early age to do unto others, as you would have them do unto you, and John lived those words right to the end of his short life.
