My only son, Cpl. Larry Eugene Boyer was killed in Quang Tri South Vietnam on 25 May 1968. He was born 3 June 1946 and graduated from Riverside High School in Beaver County, a star sports athlete and went on to Kent State College for 2 ½ years. He wanted so badly to get into the Marines and a star athlete there also. His death was such a loss to us but made him a hero for all of us. He was well loved by everyone who knew him.
